Athletes First's Allonzo Trier # 1 ranked guard in America
The Summer evaluation period led to some real shake-up at the top of our rankinkings of the class of 2015, including a new number one prospect in 6-8 LSU commitment Ben Simmons from Montverde, FL Academy. Simmons, and Australian native was the dominant player of the spring and summer including stellar performances at the NBPA Top 100 Camp and in Nike EYBL action!
He is getting pushed by some two big-time back court scorers and one of the deepest group of big men talent we’ve seen in recent years. In at number two, is 6-6 swing man Jaylen Brown from Marieta, GA Wheeler high who can explode for thirty-plus anytime he hits the court. Brown has a deadly perimeter jumper that sets up a variety of highlight moves that he finishes over and around opponents at the rim. Right behind him is the dominant offensive force in the Nike EYBL, 6-4 Allonzo Trier from Henderson, NV Findlay Prep who averaged over 30ppg versus the best Nike has to offer this summer. He has point guard ball skills, but is an unstoppable driver and slasher who sets game up with accuracy off the dribble on the pull-up or catch and shoot jumper. Up next, is 6-9 shot blocking machine Cheick Diallo from Centerreach, NY Our Savior New American. This high motor big man can swat shots with the best in high school and is just starting to develop into a force on the blocks offensively. Rounding out the top five is former number one rated Ivan Rabb, a 6-10 face-up four man who has all the tools to become a force offensively. He struggled a little with consistency this summer, but he has the game to challenge for the top spot…so stay tuned!

Allonzo Trier set to transfer to Findlay Prep
Athletes First guard Allonzo Trier, who will likely become the EYBL's career scoring-leader, has decided to transfer to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard played his junior season at Montrose Christian in Maryland, but felt the need to make a change. He released the following statement upon the news he was switching schools:
Trier is extremely talented, but remains humble as he progresses through his career. He is a very personable young man and is extremely well-spoken, traits that coaches across the country have fallen in love with. He has taken a game to a completely new level, and will continue to grow his game while being surrounded with elite talent at Findlay.

EYBL Hampton MVP: Allonzo Trier Simply put, Allonzo Trier made this an easy decision. Leading Athletes First to a 3-1 record in Hampton, Trier was as good as he's ever been. In the four games, Trier averaged 32.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, while shooting a blistering 54% from the field and 92% from the line - also his season average.
During the session, Trier became the first player in EYBL history to score 30+ points in all four games. Accomplishing a feat that has never been done before, while also being a team-first player, Trier was extremely humble when the record was brought to his attention.

2014 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Recap
...Athletes First (based in Oklahoma City) and Northwest Elite (a combination of players from Washington and Oregon) were part of the second set (tipping off at 8:30) games.
And the 6-4 Trier wasted little time in showing why he – and not Malik Newman of Jackson, MS (who didn’t show up to play for the Jackson Tigers; he instead was playing for a team in the Under Armour-fronted event in Kansas City) – very well could be the No. 1 shooting guard prospect in 2015...
Trier finished with 35 points in efficient fashion: He hit nine of 14 shots from the field (including one of three from behind the arc) and all 16 of his free throws.

Findlay Prep boys basketball coach Andy Johnson didn’t like the way his team finished the first half Wednesday.
But instead of delivering a fiery speech to the Pilots during
halftime, Johnson had a simple message.
“We told them, ‘Be Findlay. Be who we are,’ ” Johnson said.
Allonzo Trier scored 17 of his game-high 27 points in the second half, and Findlay Prep pulled away from Wasatch Academy (Utah)
for an 80-52 victory in the Prep Division of the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman. The Pilots (11-0) face National Prep (Ga.) at 9 p.m. Friday at Orleans Arena in

EYBL Dallas: The Recap
At this point, it would be a surprise if Trier isn’t on this list after each session. The leader of Athletes First in every way followed up his MVP performance in Sacramento with another impressive session. The 6-foot-4 combo guard is now averaging an EYBL-leading 26.6 points per game, and is showing no signs of slowing up. As long as Trier is on the floor, Athletes First is going to be a problem.

It is not even a question who the most consistent scorer has been on the EYBL Circuit this spring. Currently averaging 29.4 points per game, Allonzo Trier of Seattle, Wash., is putting points up at a remarkable rate. Standing at 6-foot-5, Trier has a lethal combination of size and body control that allows him to put up points in bunches.
